Girls Night Out Returns April 22

It’s time for Round 3 of Downtown Lakeland’s Girls Night Out. Join us on Saturday, April 22, 5:30-8:30 p.m. for a night of sales, samples and event specials.

More than a dozen businesses are taking part in the event, so grab your girlfriends, head downtown and pop into one of the participating locations to get a free map to the goodies and specials.

“The members of Downtown Lakeland Partnership are good at creating events that attract people Downtown,” says Ellen Simms, the DLP’s executive director. “This event is another way to get people downtown and to showcase our retail shops, in addition to our restaurants and bars. We want people remember there is a  wide variety of businesses downtown, and they’re worth visiting.”

Participating businesses:

Bella Visage- Kick off the evening at their pre-party, which runs 5-7 p.m. and pick up your map for the event. Free gift bags for the first 20 guests.

Brooke Pottery- Serving wine and cheese while you shop. Mary Kay Independent Sales Director Tracie Carley will demonstrate color cosmetics featuring spring trends.

Copper Tree Beads– Chair massage, product demonstrations, sangria and food. Take $5 off your purchase.

Embroidery Mill Boutique & Gifts- Serving complimentary wine from Harry’s Bar and Grill, and dessert. Free gift with your purchase over $30.

Just Dance– Offering a variety of ladies’ activities and shopping opportunities.

Mitchells Coffee House–  Coffee and baked goods available for purchase. Free iced coffee and Coca Cola cake for the first 50 people. While you’re here, check out Tiffany Campbell’s Glamour Girl Glassware hand-painted wine glasses. Rodan + Fields representative Jennifer Slade will be on hand to educate guests about her products and give samples. Drawings for free products will be held.

Scout & Tag– Music, sangria and a drawing for a gift card.

Stationery Loft- Enter the raffle for two $50 gift certificates. Earn an entry for every $10 spent during the event.

Top Buttons- Jewelry designer Tatiana Cabral Smith will be onsite hand-stamping custom necklaces, keychains and cuff bracelets. 30% of proceeds will be donated to Top Buttons! Shop a huge selection of upscale, gently used clothing. Musical guest is violinist Michael Smith.

Traditions Unlimited– Sample dips made with mixes from Lakeside Seasonings, a Lakeland-based company. Free gift with a $25 purchase.

Two Hens & A Hound- Rusty Lark will be on site with her handcrafted jewelry creating unique pieces and available to talk to you about personalized designs for you.
