First Friday Classic Car Show
Featuring DJ Starvin’ Darvin’ playing Golden Oldies & dancing in the streets! Prizes, 50/50 raffle & FREE ice cream for registered participants. Located along Tennessee Avenue between Main Street & Pine Street in front of Main Street Creamery & Diner.
A native of Central Florida, Bryan believes that the most powerful musical instrument is voice. His original songs are both melodic and thoughtful. What he has experienced during extensive travels throughout the world has provided inspiration for many of his songs.
Billy Needs A Beard
A motley collection of friends who, for the past five years, have been playing and writing music together. Their backgrounds are different, and their tastes are eclectic, but their goal is the same: to find a way to blend the music they make with the sensibilities of getting older in the modern world. Combining harmonies with acoustic instrumentation, and presenting a mix of originals and covers.
Phil Schneider Trio
Phil Schneider started playing the guitar at thirteen. Before he had left high school he was performing professionally. He has performed as a solo artist as well in duo’s and trios. For ten years he was the lead singer and bass guitarist for the rock band Rane.
Howard Buck has been a music buff all of his life but didn’t really get started in the performance of music until he joined the military in 1962. Being stuck on ship for months at a time created a boredom that was soothed by singing a cappella with friends.
Donald Farr played bass in local Lakeland, Florida, blues, classic rock, and country bands ever since, with Sunday mornings devoted to praise and worship music at church. Donald joined the Phil Schneider Trio in 2008.

Bennan Jeremy
We’ve been playing together for a little over a year. We play covers as well as originals, and try to keep a mellow tone, though we have been known to get rowdy at times. We’d like to thank the Downtown Lakeland Partnership, and Lakeland in general for their support.
Larry Pelton – Saxophonist 863-606-0262
Available for private parties 1,2 or 3 piece ensemble. No party too small. Jazz, Blues, Waltz. Great for foxtrot, swing and latin dancing. 863-606-0262
Citrus Lakes Chorus
Members of the Citrus Lakes Chorus raise their voices in song to the community throughout the year. Each month the chorus performs at the Watson Cancer Center, Lakeland Regional Medical Center and Lakeland Cancer Center. They also perform at Downtown Lakeland’s monthly “First Friday” street celebrations. Last August the Chorus performed twice for the Detroit Tiger’s minor league affiliate – The Flying Tigers, singing the national anthem and performing “Barbershop” throughout the stadium between innings. Yes, Citrus Lakes Barbershop Chorus is busy throughout the year, performing for senior groups (Golden Age Clubs), nursing and retirement homes, churches, Polk County Sheriff’s Office volunteers, Tuesday Music Club, and many others.
