Newsletter Home Page

We are located at the corner of E. Pine Street and N. Kentucky Avenue, in the plaza of the Curtis Peterson Building, across from the Downtown Crispers.

Our hours are every Saturday between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM and every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

More than 50 different vendors participate at our Market – some every week, some once a month, and some seasonally. The Market is a landscape that changes all the time; our long-term “regulars” are the anchors and the “occasionals” spice things up! We frequently host live musicians, lectures, demonstrations and fitness activities.

Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our e-mail newsletter to stay up to date on the latest happenings.

Parking:Park on the streets (Pine, Tennessee, Kentucky), in the BB&T Bank parking lot (Saturdays Only), the lot on the north side of Munn Park (no coins necessary on Saturdays), or the Bay Street lot. Yellow Zone (2 hour limit) does not apply on Saturdays. Take time to visit other Downtown businesses while you are here!

tomatoOur Purpose:The Downtown Farmers Curb Market is a key component of a vibrant, diverse and exciting Downtown. It is designed to serve and bring together all segments of our community. It is a positive force in bringing people Downtown to purchase fresh produce, plants and local crafts. The year-round Market is a showcase for the talents and the work of local artisans and growers. The Downtown Farmers Curb Market is a project of the Lakeland Downtown Development Authority (LDDA).

I am interested in possibly being a vendor at the Farmer’ Market. I do all kinds of personalized, homemade items for people and pets-pet collars, leashes, bandanas, quilts, etc. and rag quilts, cooling ties, personalized koozies, embroidered items for people. Don’t know if these are the types of items you are looking for, but I thought it was worth a try because my accounting consulting job is now 9 hours /wk instead of 30-35 hours./wk and about to end. As a single person, I certainly can’t pay my bills on $90/week!! I am thinking this would be a good time to jump start my own business. I also want to be a personal assistant to people who need help in their home, being taken to doctor and hair appointments, take their pets to the groomer, need a friend, light housekeeping, anything you would want done for your family member. The name of my business is “C Dog Creations” “Made with 100% love and % perfection”!!
I will look forward to hearing from you soon!! Thanks, Nancy Richards

We maintain a website with just the forms you need: http://www.ldda.org/curbmarket/vendor_rules_and_forms.html. Also, it is a good idea to call Market Manager Jim Luna at (863)221-4633 to see if the item you want to vend is going to be a good fit at the Market. We look forward to hearing from you!

I love the downtown market!  I paint birdhouses, frames, small chairs…and any other item that is paintable.  My work is bright and colorful and has a very finished appearance.  I thrive on color.  I also am a watercolorist.  Could two people share a table.  I have a friend who does beading.  Please let me know about the cost.
