Building on prior year’s success, the 2012 Brewz Crewz Craft Beer Festival in Downtown Lakeland promises to be even better.  This year’s event will feature a VIP level that gives ticket holders the chance to have an exclusive preview hour with the brew meisters, allowing them to enjoy the beer, food, and music at a more leisurely pace.  General admission will get fans unlimited beer tastings, food samples, and music.

If you missed it the first time, Cabaret at the Polk is back for six more shows! Outstanding area artists, Brian Sutherland, Craig Morby, Sarah Machinia, Kimberly Milton and Sharon Clark present original arrangements of the music of Johnny Cash as you’ve never heard it before. Cabaret-style seating on stage makes this show unique and intimate.

January 7, 13 & 14 at 7:00 Pm and 10:00 PM each night.

The concert will include performances by the SEU Jazz Band, the SEU Wind Ensemble, the SEU String Orchestra, the SEU Orchestra, and the SEU Chamber Singers with Concert Choir. There will also be a Christmas sing-a-long with the audience led by two of our music students. The community is invited to attend this special event.

Southeastern is located at 1000 Longfellow Boulevard in Lakeland. Parking is available across the street from the main entrance on Longfellow.
