Pink, pink, pink. More than anything, Pinkalicious loves pink, especially pink cupcakes. Her parents    warn her not to eat too many of them, but when Pinkalicious does . . . she turns pink! What to do? This  sparkling show based on the picture book, filled with such favorites as pink bubble gum, pink peonies, pink cotton candy, and pink fairy princess dresses, celebrates all things pink while showing that being yourself is best of all.

This year’s event will run for two days, Thursday, March 8, and Friday, March 9, on Southeastern’s campus in Lakeland, Florida, and is headlined by NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, a familiar face to many in Central Florida after having led the Florida Gators football team to two national championships and winning the Heisman Trophy in 2007.

But Tebow has started to make headlines frequently across the country for his play in the National Football League. Currently a quarterback for the Denver Broncos, Tebow has led his team to six consecutive wins while throwing for 11 touchdowns and only two interceptions this season.

His strong Christian faith has become a popular topic in the media, and Tebow has continued to speak about his faith and give God glory for his on-field success.

Tebow will speak during The Forum and at a special dinner event at 6 p.m. on March 8. Tickets to The Forum not only give participants the chance to hear Tebow’s one-hour message, but they also get access to the entire lineup of speakers.

The remaining speakers at The Forum are as follows: former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates; Curt Coffman, a prominent international business consultant; Phil Cooke, an internationally known writer and speaker, and media producer; Nancy Duarte, principal of one of the largest design firms in Silicon Valley; author, speaker, activist, filmmaker, artist, and innovator Erwin McManus; former airline executive Howard Putnam; Scott Rasmussen, founder and president of Rasmussen Reports; best-selling author and noted authority on leadership Mark Sanborn; and Pat Williams, senior vice president of the Orlando Magic and one of the country’s top motivational speakers.

All Forum seating is reserved, and because of the intimate venue, registration is limited to 700 people. Guests can visit The Forum website to reserve tickets for the conference. Individual tickets to Tim Tebow’s keynote dinner are currently not for sale, but table sponsorships are available and can be secured by calling 877-FORUM2012.

Forum sponsorships are also available and provide interested parties the opportunity to directly benefit Southeastern University’s student scholarship fund. All Forum sponsorship proceeds in 2012 benefit the Southeastern Scholarship program.

The concert will include performances by the SEU Jazz Band, the SEU Wind Ensemble, the SEU String Orchestra, the SEU Orchestra, and the SEU Chamber Singers with Concert Choir. There will also be a Christmas sing-a-long with the audience led by two of our music students. The community is invited to attend this special event.

Southeastern is located at 1000 Longfellow Boulevard in Lakeland. Parking is available across the street from the main entrance on Longfellow.
