Profile: An award-winning furniture designer in the 70s and now an award-winning photographer, Michael 's professional career (in between) revolved around newspapers and the newspaper industry — first at an independent weekly publication in St. Augustine, then for more than 22 years with the New York Times Company, and since 2000 as an independent industry consultant. Along the way, Michael has written computer programs, designed logos and websites, and developed training for business software and process improvement. "I know it seems like an odd collection of interests and skills, but I find that harmony is the underlying theme in all I do. Woodcraft, photography, design, and process analysis all require the harmonic response of all their parts in order to reach satisfaction." "I also play the guitar, the piano, and golf ... but not for money."

Work began in April on Florida Southern College’s latest piece of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, a Usonian house that Wright first envisioned around the turn of the 20th century.
