Profile: The SPCA serves Polk County and surrounding areas through the adoption of orphaned animals in need, reducing pet overpopulation, and educating the public on responsible pet ownership. Most recently, the SPCA has expanded into a full-service animal care medical center. The SPCA receives no funds from the United Way, the State, the ASPCA or any national organizations.
