Downtown Lakeland Partnership, Inc.

A Florida not-for-profit Corporation


The specific and primary purpose for which this corporation is formed is to promote Downtown Lakeland through:

  1. Unifying Downtown Lakeland's diverse businesses to promote Downtown Lakeland.
  2. Creating an awareness of Downtown Lakeland within greater Lakeland's residential and business communities.
  3. Motivating visitors and lakeland's residents to shop and do business in Downtown Lakeland.
  4. Encourage continued diversity in retail and business services to locate in Downtown Lakeland and
  5. Promote the continued growth, vibrancy and planned development of Downtown Lakeland, including representing Downtown Lakeland's collective business community to achieve these ends.

General Membership Meeting

First Wednesday of the Month

Lakeland Police Department Community Room (2nd Floor) Massaschusetts Ave., across from Crispers

7:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast with networking

Meeting - 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

All are welcome to attend.

The purpose of this meeting is to allow members to express ideas and concerns, network with other members as well as provide a venue for information sharing with Downtown businesses by community leaders and other organizations.

 

Marketing Meeting

Second Tuesday of the Month

MID FLORIDA Board Room - 7th floor

MidFlorida Tower on the corner of Kentucky & Lemon

8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

All are welcome to attend.

The marketing meeting consists of three areas: Events, PR/Advertising & Membership.  At this meeting committee chairs look for input in these areas from members and formulate action items.

 

Board of Directors Meeting

Last Wednesday of the Month

MID FLORIDA Board Room - 7th floor

MidFlorida Tower on the corner of Kentucky & Lemon

8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

All are welcome to attend.

The board of directors are presented with reports from the committee chairs and vote on any actionable items.

 

Parking Meeting

Third Tuesday of every other Month (Jan, March, May, etc)

Lakeland Police Department Community Room (2nd Floor) Massaschusetts Ave., across from Crispers

Meeting - 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

All are welcome to attend.

The parking meeting is a venue to dicsuss parking related issues as well as a forum for updates from the city of Lakeland concerning parking.
