First Friday is a monthly celebration in Downtown
Lakeland.
Each month features LOCAL ARTISTS ALONG THE STREETS with
music and other entertainment for the entire family.
During First Friday,
shops and restaurants stay open late.
A classic car show is featured along Tennessee
Avenue.

Each year Downtown Lakeland celebrates the holidays with shopping, dining, music, wagon rides and more! This year we will have holiday music from many area schools performing, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a kiddie train ride, and lots of holiday shopping! Lights for Life will have their lighting of the tree celebration on this night as well.

Each year the October general membership meeting is replaced with the state of downtowwn luncheon. New board members are installed, the president's gavel is exchanged and the DLP gives a presentation of its activities for the past year and goals for the upcoming year.
