Explorations V Children’s Museum, located at 109 N Kentucky Avenue in downtown Lakeland, will be celebrating 20 years of hands-on, fun-filled adventures in learning on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 10am-3pm at the biggest birthday party in town, its 20th Birthday X-travaganza!

Special guests for the event will be the crew from Radio Disney AM1380 who’ll be leading party-goers in party games, dancing and “20″ themed activities from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Explorations V will host hands-on party activities and a museum scavenger hunt leading visitors throughout the three floors of kid-powered exhibits. Completed scavenger hunt forms will be entered into a drawing for a free annual family membership!

All the fun and games will be included with museum admission which is $7 per person. Senior citizens 65+ are $3.50. Children under two and museum members are free.
