Don’t know your annual from your perennial?  The City of Lakeland’s Beautification Board and Parks & Recreation Department have a cure for that. 

On Monday, February 7th at 6:30 pm at the Downtown Lakeland Library, John King, noted landscape architect, will host the free Garden Lecture Series that will demystify the world of landscape flowers.  This one hour class is part of a monthly series for the do-it-yourself garden enthusiast. 

The Downtown Lakeland Library, of f of Lake Morton, hosts the series on the first Monday of each month.  The Larry Jackson Branch Library hosts the series on the third Monday of each month.  Informational packets are provided by the Lake Region Chapter of the Florida Nurserymen, Growers & Landscape Association.
