Join PMoA for a Clay Workshop for Adults

Do you feel like the kids get to have all the fun on Saturdays? Polk Museum of Art is now hosting workshops just for adults on the first Saturdays of the month. Try your hand at a variety of mediums and techniques while diving a bit deeper into one of the current exhibitions. Each workshop will be lead by Rick Olivo and will being with a brief tour of the current exhibition, followed by a hands-on workshop reflecting the themes, styles, or subject matter you just learned about.

For November 6, the topic is Clay. Participants will take a quick, guided tour of the exhibition Ancient Art of the Americas for inspiration, and then will head upstairs to create their own ceramic sculpture. The workshop is from 1:00 – 2:00pm, and costs $10 for PMoA members or $25 for non-members.
