October 1st, 2010 2:48 pm | by

Polk Museum of Art is excited to announce that 2009 Grammy Nominee Ruthie Foster will be the performer for this year’s Red, White & The Blues. This annual benefit for the Museum combines a great blues concert with a wine tasting for an evening of fun! This year’s theme is “In the Voodoo Lounge”, and the event chairs, Jonn and Elizabeth Hoppe, are promising a night filled with spirits, mojo, and superstition.

VIP tickets to the event are $75 per person, and for that price you get into the building at 7pm, admission to the wine tasting, the music performance, an open bar all evening, and heavy hors d’oeuvres by Texas Cattle Company. General admission is $30 per person, which gets you into the building at 9pm for the performance and a cash bar.

Tickets are now available and can be purchased by calling 863-688-7743 or by visiting www.PolkMuseumofArt.org/RWB.
