Membership: Julie for Tim – asking for gift certificates to give to those who get new members. Planning a kick-off party – 210 in 2010 @210
New Members; Fitz Gallery, Silpada Designs (Tina Witty), Traders Alley @210
First Friday – July 2nd picnic games; minute to win it on N.Kentucky, water balloons, pass the orange (?) hoola hoops (?), DJ (?), corn hole @ 210, bake off – S.Kentucky, getting help from Lori Powell, trying to get celebrity judges. Julie trying to get non store front members to man games.
July 3rd Red – White – and Kaboom – Tables will be set up outside restaurants for extra seating, kiddy train, bounce house, balloons and tattoos, live music
Goodie Bags – white, logo on both sides with downtown information
Downtown Magazine – still need back page ad Cost $5,400 for 20,000 copies. 15,000 will be inserted in to The Ledger, 5,000 will be passed out as always. Article ideas? Send to Julie. Insertion will be July 22.
New Business – schedule comminute meeting for Brewz Crewz
Get information to Julie about Lincoln bake sale
Julie is working on lease agreement to keep outside businesses from handing our information on First Fridays. Julie will pass out DLP signs to non-storefront members who set up on First Friday
Jean Bunch invites everyone who joins Polk Theater at a $100 level to enjoy pie on her porch during Flag week from 1 – 6 pm.
