Introductions – Amy Cooper-Highland Homes, Lori Powell, Lynn Dennis, Mike Maguire, Ellen Simms, Beverly Hendricks, Bud? Flamingo Home Care, Albert Moehring-ISO, Julie Townsend, Kay Morgan
Membership – Julie reporting for Tim Calhoon: We have 4 new members, Lasting Paws Pet Cremation, A Touch Above-White Dove Releases, Riverside Bank, and Bresler Training. This brings our membership to 169.
Events – First Friday: July was very successful considering the weather.
August – Dog Days of Summer – Lakeland Kennel Club, meet the breeds in Munn Park, Shorts and Flip Flops, K-9 officers, Dunk Tank-Watson Clinic Foundation, Pouch Parade- Bay to Main, Glass Artist at Brooke Pottery, put out water bowls for the dogs. Send e-mail to Julie with what you will be doing.
September – Mid FL back to school, details soon. PechaKucha night sponsored by PlatformART. www.pecha-kucha.org or www.platformart.org
October – Polk County Builders Association – “The Art of Better Living” Art along Kentucky, Oncology on Canvas.
First Friday meeting following the General meeting Aug 4th.

Marketing – Goodie Bags have hit a snare but it is being worked out.
Downtown Dish Magazine – has gone to press and will be inserted into The Ledger July 22
Webisodes – Mike Maguire, behind scenes producer, will be glad to explain how to link to your web site, give him a call. Mike can also make a 60 sec commercial for $100.
Amy of Highland Homes, glad to have joined, got a good response from past First Friday’s. Highland Homes is a family owned business
Albert Moehring is the new Executive Director for the Imperial Symphony Orchestra. Albert comes from Charlotte, NC
Bud of Flamingo Home Care is pleased that he got a new client after his first e-blast.
Lynn Dennis will check on the date for FSC Parents Weekend.
