Membership: Tim Calhoon, we have 168 members. Jimmy Johns has joined.

Program : Frank McCaulley, Speed Dating, tell about your business in three minutes or less.

            Tom Cancellare: Fairfield Inns, located on County Line Rd., 10 minutes from downtown. Offers a shuttle service to downtown, on Wed they have a reception open to all from 5-7pm, bring in your receipts from downtown to get bonus points on your Marriot card.

            Lori Powell: Lakeland Center, Lori books non entertainment groups. The Women’s Show, Bucklers Craft Show, she has booked the Sewing and Quilt Convention and many others.             Meredith Spresser : Polk Museum of Art, the only AAM accredited museum in Polk County. Cost, $5. Adults, $4. Seniors, students free. Yearly membership is $40. Which includes some discounts on services. They sponsor May Fair with 185 artists representing their work.

Treasurers Report: we have $47,326.73

Anne Furr: LDDA, April 15th – Steve Scruggs, Economic Development, will talk about towns visited. Board room City Hall.  April 16th – Green Celebration at Lake Mirror. This is a carbon natural concert. Vote on “best bin” the winning school will receive $300.  Sun-n-Fun a success.  Day and Nite ends April 30th.

Newsletter has printed 10,000 copies. 16 pages glossy with map in center
