Brewz Crewz – Eric Belvin: sold about 1,350 tickets. Had expected about 500 and 1000. Had very positive comments, crowd was orderly and congenial. Will meet with all beer distributors to discuss what needs to be improved upon.
Improve on: getting people into the park, entrances, and 2 for regular and 1 for VIP. Increase number of porta potties, perhaps a trailer.
Meeting with Elder Point – Julie and Ellen at Frescos on Friday , Feb 26 at 8:30
Suggested – a friend of Ellen. Beer Education from 5 to 6
Although figures are not final, we made enough to replace silent auction at the luncheon
Jim heard, general public, great event, volunteers were helpful and friendly
Eric had someone video the event, will send to vendor and ask them to participate next year
Jim suggested that the video be put on youtube.com
Eric – encourage the group to not have the event anywhere other than Munn Park
VIP – had to turn away about 50 people – VIP would have a slower presentation from 5-6 perhaps higher prices – could have a tent as well as the room
