New Clay Art Miniatures at Brooke Pottery
New at Brooke Pottery are astoundingly beautiful miniatures known as Happy Houses: small buildings handsculpted from terracotta clay and handpainted with rich, vibrant glazes. New England husband and wife team Felix Kniazev and Olga Julinska have been creating brightly colored ceramic arts for nearly 10 years with the mission to delight and wonder viewers. Their “Happy House” series is inspired by “the ancient belief that a little clay house brings luck and fortune to its owner.” Appropriately enough, these clay miniatures are built to fit a tealight within and cast cozy light from the windows. At Brooke Pottery, these artful miniatures are but the first wonders from Art Department that we’ll carry- for spring we’ve ordered fresh “bouquets” of their colorful ceramic flowers!
