First Friday is a free monthly celebration in Downtown Lakeland from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
Recurring First Friday features include:
- Live music and entertainment;
- VIEW ENTERTAINERS’ BIOs
- VIEW FOCUS TV VIDEO
- A Classic Car Show on Tennessee Avenue across from Munn Park;
- Exhibitions by local artists (more info on participating is below); and
- Shops and restaurants are open late!
Look for special events sponsored by various merchants during First Friday.
MARCH THEME: Downtown Unplugged / Oncology On Canvas
Local musicians invited to play “unplugged”, all acoustic along the sidewalks of Downtown. Hear the talents of a wide rang of artists along Main Street and Kentucky Ave from Lemon to Bay.
The March First Friday will also be the venue for Oncology on Canvas. Streets will be closed and filled with artwork from cancer survivors who expressed their cancer journey through art.
