Celebrate Kwanzaa at Polk Museum of Art

Polk Museum of Art will host its annual Kwanzaa Celebration on Saturday, December 26, 2009, 1:00pm – 2:00pm. The event will feature the Kuumba Dancers and Drummers from Tampa.
Kwanzaa is an African-American holiday that is a time for family to come together with the community and celebrate African-American culture. Polk Museum of Art’s Kwanzaa Celebration will present the ideas and traditions behind the holiday, and attendees will enjoy an energetic dance performance.
