Santa Will Be Calling Lakeland Students on December 8th

LAKELAND, FL – (November 18, 2009) The City of Lakeland Parks and Recreation Department has made special arrangements this year for Santa to phone local children from his workshop. Santa and his long distance operators will be calling elementary school aged children on Tuesday, December 8th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Parents must complete a “Santa’s Calling” form to ensure your child doesn’t miss out on this exciting opportunity. Forms can be obtained online at www.lakelandgov.net or picked up at one of the following facilities.

§  Kelly Recreation Complex – 404 Imperial Boulevard
§  Simpson Park Community Center – 1725 MLK Jr. Boulevard
§  City Hall – 228 S. Massachusetts Avenue

All forms must be submitted by Monday, December 7th. You can fax your form to 863-648-3173 or drop it off at any of the locations listed above.
