A motley collection of friends who, for the past five years, have been playing and writing music together. Their backgrounds are different, and their tastes are eclectic, but their goal is the same: to find a way to blend the music they make with the sensibilities of getting older in the modern world. Combining harmonies with acoustic instrumentation, and presenting a mix of originals and covers.

pic01Phil Schneider Trio

Phil Schneider started playing the guitar at thirteen. Before he had left high school he was performing professionally. He has performed as a solo artist as well in duo’s and trios. For ten years he was the lead singer and bass guitarist for the rock band Rane.

Howard Buck has been a music buff all of his life but didn’t really get started in the performance of music until he joined the military in 1962. Being stuck on ship for months at a time created a boredom that was soothed by singing a cappella with friends.

Bill started playing music at a very young age, taking up the ukulele, attempting to serenade girls. Realizing he “ain’t got a barrel of money…he traveled along singing a song” anyway. He later attempted playing the banjo and guitar, but, in his words, “I realized I did not have sufficient eye-hand co-ordination to perfect either instrument.”
