Two seats on the LDDA Board of Directors are up for election in a contest to be conducted on October 6, 2009. The qualifying period for candidates will be from noon, Monday, July 27, 2009 to noon, Friday, July 31, 2009 in Bartow at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 250 S. Broadway Avenue.
