Heather’s Hope Foundation, Inc. is a recently established non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness and prevention of Domestic Abuse through education and community service.

Our foundation was established to preserve the spirit and memory of Heather Lynn Rimmer, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, teacher and friend who passed away on August 23rd, 2008 at the hands of her abusive spouse.

Our inaugural fund-raiser, Heather’s Hope Tiger Trot will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Joker Marchant Stadium. The event, hosted by the Lakeland Flying Tigers, will be family friendly and will include a 5k Run, Tiger’s game, children’s activities, fireworks and a teen dance.
